About my practice:

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to earn your trust, hear your story and build a therapeutic relationship with you. I believe engaging in therapy will allow you the opportunity to grow immensely and experience the change you desire.

I believe in taking a client-centered, strength-based approach in therapy. What that means for you when you enter therapy is that we will work collaboratively, building trust and a deep rapport that elicits meaningful change and progress in your life.

My role is to serve as a guide for your development and growth. I will meet you with the utmost respect, patience and empathy. I believe that you have the capacity for change and the strength and resilience necessary to achieve it.

I believe that taking a holistic approach to therapy is the best way to serve each client. I have extensive experience and training using The Gottman Method (for couples counseling), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, mindfulness and grief counseling.

My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, couples counseling, grief, trauma, work/life balance, stress management, life transitions, racial identity, romantic relationships, building self-esteem, substance use and support for families who’s loved one is experiencing addiction.

I am originally from California but have been fortunate to call Washington home since 2012. I decided to pursue a career in mental health counseling after spending time after my undergraduate degree teaching English in South Korea.

Working with people has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my career as a mental health practitioner I have worked at several non-profits, a private substance abuse treatment facility, community mental health and at Seattle University teaching mental health counseling to graduate students. I have been practicing therapy since 2015.

I enjoy spending time with those close to me, playing with my dog, reading, exercising and watching movies.
